ABOUT US As a dynamic Australian & New Zealand retailer and wholesaler, Conquest Sports is a market leader specialising in footwear and apparel. We hold exclusive licenses to distribute major leading brands such as Converse, plus kid’s specialty clothing from Converse, Jordan & Nike. ABOUT THE ROLE Reporting to the Converse ANZ Head of Brand & Consumer; you will lead the PR, Influencer and Converse All Star community offensive for Australia and New Zealand, with a focus on earned media and relationship building as well as marketing administration, reporting and operations. This is a full-time role based in Mitcham VIC. Specifically, this role will include, but is not limited to: - Lead and manage the Converse All Stars community for Australia and New Zealand.
- Manage the day to day running of partner agencies; community, PR, influencer and experiential. This includes briefing in of campaigns, management of retainer hours, ensuring activity is carried out and reported on to standard, and attending regular meetings to maintain strong relationship with our extended team within our agencies.
- Work and build relationships with key media (traditional and new) across Australia and New Zealand to land earned seasonal and brand storytelling
- Identify and build strong relationships with key influencers, athletes and ambassadors in line with the brand across all social platforms. Liaison with the Head of Brand & Consumer to create and coordinate influencer strategies that work across different channels.
- Own the Converse Creator UGC program across recruitment, selection, briefing, communication and reporting
- Organize and manage assigned projects and events.
- Responsibilities across marketing operations, budget management, KPIs and reporting.

The ideal candidate is a self-starter, standout colleague and has proven experience delivering positive results. To be successful in this role, this person should have expert communication skills, both written and verbal as well as have a deep knowledge of digital and new platforms. This candidate should be creative and have their finger on the pulse of the current culture and understands PR, media, taste maker and influencer behavior and trends. The successful candidate will possess the following experience: - Tertiary/degree qualifications in Business, Marketing or a related field
- Previous experience in a PR/Brand marketing environment (agency or brand-side)
- Influencer strategy experience and a proven ability to nurture relationships with media and key stakeholders
- Proven understanding of the ANZ media landscape
- Experience in building brands and handling multiple projects across key consumer touch points (comms, influencer, social media, content etc)
- Strong interest in fashion, art, music, street culture and sports
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Intermediate experience in Microsoft applications including Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint essential
- Strong organization skills and ability to work within a team
WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH As the Marketing Executive – Community, PR & Influencer, collaboration is critical as you work to seamlessly connect Brand Marketing to our external facing All Star Community, Media Partners and Influencer network. You will manage external partners and agencies as well as working with the local ANZ Head of Brand & Consumer, Content & Social Media Manager and extended marketing and design teams to ensure alignment and consistency across the way we engage and service our brand relationships.
