ABOUT THE ROLE

This role is PERFECT for any keen individuals looking break into the world of Ecommerce within the fashion and streetwear space!

The eCommerce Assistant (EA) is primarily charged with supporting the Trade function of the online department with website administration and operational tasks.  Additionally, the EA will provide support to the Digital Marketing and Digital Projects functions and pending cyclical demands, will also assist with customer service tasks.

Specifically, this role will include, but is not limited to:

Working with the Group eCommerce Manager & eCommerce Executive:

• Compile product enrichment files ahead of weekly/monthly product drops and prepare all products for launch, enabling them when required.
• Upload and take down content on the site, according to the eCommerce Calendar.
• Assist with weekly product merchandising tasks, including enabling and disabling products.
• Execute limited edition launches.
• Set up and test promo codes and shopping cart rules ahead of sales and promotions.
• Update the site with SEO meta data as required.
• Help to plan and attend eCommerce photo shoots.
• Prepare Graphics Briefs for impending campaigns as required.
• Build 2-3 emails per week in the email marketing platform.
• Conduct required testing of emails before they are sent to the database.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Qualification in eCommerce, Digital Marketing or related course highly regarded.
• Minimum 1 year experience working in a corporate environment preferred.
• Proficient user of the Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, Powerpoint)
• Ability to read and interpret data.
• Copywriting skills are a bonus.
• A keen interest in pursuing a career in eCommerce.
• Willingness to roll up the sleeves and assist with all aspects of eCommerce.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strategic thinker with a hands-on & curious mindset.
• Excellent communication skills.
